On April 25, 2025, Dr. Amy King and Dr. Brian J Griffith delivered a presentation on Where Monsters Are Born at the Columbia Seminar in Modern Italian Studies. The session – which featured presentations by Dr. Elizabeth Leake (Columbia University), Dr. Joshua Arthurs (University of Toronto), and Dr. Marla Stone (Occidental College) – was organized to mark the 80th anniversary of Italy's liberation from Fascism during the closing months of the Second World War.

Where Monsters Are Born's Official Launch

Co-editors Dr. Brian J Griffith and Dr. Amy King are pleased to announce that Where Monsters Are Born (WMAB) is officially launched. Featuring 45 Italian neo-fascist propaganda materials collected in the streets and alleyways of Rome between October 2018 and July of the following year, WMAB aims to equip its visitors with the necessary analytical tools for recognizing far-right politics and mass messaging strategies within the public sphere.
